The Masterpiece: Sanmai Composite Steel with 18-Step Cosmetic Polish This is a collector-grade Katana built using the specialized Sanmai/Kobuse Composite construction method. The blade is created through Folded Forging, encasing a hard steel core within softer layers, optimizing for both edge retention and impact resistance. It is finished with a stunning Copper Gilt Gold/Silver aesthetic.

The Signature: Composite Core & Flawless Polish

Sanmai/Kobuse Construction: The blade employs the traditional Sanmai/Kobuse method , where a hard inner core is protected by layers of softer, more resilient steel. This provides superior structural integrity and shock absorption.
Folded Forging: The layers are subjected to Folded Forging, creating a visible and complex Hada (grain structure) that runs the length of the blade.
18-Step Polish: The finish is achieved through a meticulous 18-Step Cosmetic Polish , which maximizes the visibility of the Hada and any potential Hamon (if clay tempered). This high level of finish is paramount for aesthetic value.
