The Prayer within the Curse: “Myoho Muramasa” Replica

This is a faithful recreation of the legendary “Myoho Muramasa”, the masterpiece of the famed smith Sengo Muramasa. Known in history as the “Cursed Blade” of the Tokugawa clan, this sword features the iconic mantra engraving, representing a chilling duality between the lethality of the weapon and the prayer for salvation.

The Signature: “Myoho Renge Kyo”

  • Hand-Carved Horimono: The blade features the deep, hand-carved characters “Myoho Renge Kyo” . This invocation of the Lotus Sutra was Muramasa’s signature prayer, adding a profound spiritual dimension to the blade’s “Gouketsu” (heroic) presence.

  • Tamahagane Replica Steel: The blade is forged from Tamahagane Replica Steel, recreating the subtle, natural grain (Hada) and the active Hamon (temper line) characteristic of the Muramasa school.

Master-Level Koshirae (Fittings)

  • Rare Morozumi Cowhide Wrap : A true rarity in modern swordsmithing. The handle is wrapped in Imported Premium Cowhide using the complex “Morozumi” (Pinched) Style. This combines the extreme durability of leather with the high-friction structure of the pinched wrap, offering a grip that locks into your hand.

  • White Bronze “Crashing Wave”: The Tsuba and fittings are cast in Solid White Bronze featuring a dynamic wave motif, symbolizing the uncontrollable power of the ocean—and the sword itself.

  • Kodachi Length: At 65cm, this blade is agile and fast, perfect for close-quarters handling.
