Tough 1060 High Carbon Steel: Forged from resilient 1060 steel, this blade is designed to be forgiving and durable. It is capable of handling light-to-medium targets (like tatami mats and water bottles) without being overly brittle. The blade features a distinct, traditional-style Hamon (temper line) running along the edge.
Premium Iron Koshirae (Fittings): A significant upgrade over typical alloy fittings found on swords in this class. The stylized open-work Tsuba (guard), Fuchi, and Kashira are made of solid Iron finished in black, providing superior structural integrity and a classic feel.
Distinctive Red & Black Design: The handle is tightly wrapped with Red Synthetic Silk over white synthetic ray skin (Samegawa), offering a secure grip. It is paired with a beautiful black lacquered Saya (scabbard) featuring striking red brush patterns and a matching red sageo.
