Refund policy
Thank you for choosing KatoKatana. We take great pride in the craftsmanship of our hand-forged blades. To ensure transparency and trust, please review our policy regarding returns and refunds.
1. Custom & Bespoke Orders
Due to the highly personalized nature of our bespoke blades, which are crafted to your specific requirements:
Non-Returnable: We do not accept returns or exchanges for custom orders once the forging and production process has begun.
Order Modifications: Any changes to the design must be requested within 24 hours of order placement.
Quality Guarantee: If your custom piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or does not match the specifications confirmed in your CAD/sketch, please notify us via WhatsApp or email within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a professional repair or replacement at no additional cost to you.
2. In-Stock Collection Models
For standard models purchased from our “Ready-to-Ship” collection:
Return Window: We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery.
Condition Requirement: To be eligible for a return, the item must be in original, unused condition. It must be returned in its original packaging, including the Certificate of Collectibility, custom display stand, gloves, and the complete care kit.
Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee may apply to all returns of in-stock items.
3. Shipping & Return Costs
Return Shipping: For elective returns (non-defect related), the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including any applicable insurance and customs duties.
Shipping Damage: Every KatoKatana shipment is fully insured. If your package arrives damaged, please take photos/videos immediately and report the damage to the carrier and our support team within 24 hours.
4. Non-Eligible Items
We cannot accept returns for:
Any blade showing signs of use, sharpening, or improper maintenance (e.g., surface rust due to lack of oiling).
Items that have been disassembled or modified by the customer.
Items missing their original accessories or certificate.
5. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund (minus any applicable fees) will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
