How do I choose between an in-stock model and a custom blade?
t depends on your needs. If you want a high-quality, high-value sword delivered quickly, our [In-Stock Collection] is the best choice. If you are looking for a unique masterpiece with specific materials, hand-forged soul, and a Hand-Fitted Habaki, we recommend our bespoke service.
Which steel type is right for me?
We use various high-carbon steels in our factory. 1060 steel is perfect for beginners and light cutting. T10 or Manganese steel offers superior hardness and edge retention for heavy-duty use. For collectors, our Folded Steel provides the most beautiful aesthetic patterns (Hada).
What length should my Katana be?
Generally, a standard Katana has a blade length (Nagasa) of about 70-72cm. For most users, this provides the best balance. If you have specific height requirements or martial arts needs, we can adjust this through our Custom Order Service.
Is "Battle-Ready" necessary if I only want to display it?
While display-only swords exist elsewhere, all KatoKatana products are built to “Battle-Ready” standards with a full tang. Even for display, a real, functional sword carries a level of authenticity and “heft” that decorative wall-hangers simply cannot match.

Is it legal to ship a Katana to my country?
We have extensive experience shipping to the USA and Europe. Most regions allow the import of collectible swords. However, we recommend checking your local laws. If we identify any customs restrictions for your specific location, we will contact you before processing the order.

Can I cancel or modify my order after it has been placed?
For In-Stock Models, modifications can be made within 24 hours before shipping. For Custom Orders, since production is tailored to your needs, changes or cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of placement. Once our smiths begin the forging process, the order cannot be altered.
What payment methods do you accept, and is it secure?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and secure online payment gateways. Our website uses SSL encryption to ensure your personal and financial information is 100% protected. For high-value custom commissions, we also support flexible payment arrangements—please consult our sales team.
Will I receive updates during the production of my custom sword?

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We provide Free Shipping to the USA & Europe on all orders. For other regions, shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Since we ship directly from our factory, we ensure the most efficient and safe routes.
How long will it take for my Katana to arrive?
In-stock models ship within 3–5 business days and usually arrive within 7–14 days. Custom orders take 4–5 weeks for forging. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your blade leaves our factory.
What is your return policy for in-stock items?
We offer a 30-day return period for our Collection models. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all accessories and the Certificate of Collectibility. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Can I return a custom-made sword?
Due to the personalized nature of Bespoke Customization, we do not accept returns or exchanges for custom orders once production begins. We work closely with you during the design phase to ensure the final product meets your vision.
What should I do if my sword arrives damaged?
Every shipment is insured. If the package is damaged during transit, please take photos and contact us on WhatsApp within 24 hours. We will coordinate with the carrier and arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund.
